Kathryn Hahn discusses being mistaken for Ana Gasteyer, sharing the funny mix-ups on the Armchair Expert podcast.
Kathryn Hahn, Monica Padman, and Dax Shepard on the Armchair Expert podcast on Monday discussed how a lot of people mix her up with Ana Gasteyer. The Agatha All Along star explained, I am sort of always in the happy trouble of being mixed up with Ana Gasteyer. You see, this is why we misunderstand each other so much. Hahn went on, explaining it happened that Gasteyer sent her a series of pictures taken in different Starbucks and they had the words, ‘I love Bad Moms’ that referred to the movie that Hahn starred, not Gasteyer.
Hahn who was amused by the mix up commented, “I never told any of them that I am not SNL,” referring to Gasteyer’s involvement in the comedy sketch program. Hahn noted that the thing that both actresses studied at Northwestern University could be an additional reason for the mix up. Also, Gasteyer has admitted the confusion saying that saxophonist Kenny G has once confused her for Hahn. ‘I didn’t know how to break it out to Kenny G that I am not Kathryn Hahn that is why I merely responded “Thank you, it was awesome working with you,” Gasteyer recounted and failed to correct him.
Hahn is currently doing promotion for Agatha All Along which is a spinoff of WandaVision on Disney+ where she reprises her role of Agatha Harkness. Grown Ups film can be seen in short weekends as it airs every Wednesday.
